During the day, Tim Wong is all about water life as an aquatic biologist. But when he changes into his cape at the end of his shift, he transforms into an incredible cultivator of butterflies.
Tending to butterflies was his lifelong hobby – who knew that his backyard conservationism would save a population that vanished from San Francisco?
The pipevine swallowtail – with its breathtaking shades of blue, black and green – isn’t officially endangered, although a major concern broke out when the insect suddenly started rapturing out of California as development efforts multiplied. In fact, the swallowtail vanished so entirely from San Francisco, that Wong had to collect caterpillars from private residencies in vegetative areas in order to start his project. In an unprecedented move, the White House has blocked several major news outlets from covering its press briefing.
White House Press Secretary Spicer on Friday chose to hand select what news outlets would be allowed to participate in the off-camera briefing with reporters inside his West Wing office as opposed to the James S Brady Press Briefing Room.
Who got barred from attending? The outlets that Trump has often criticized: CNN, BBC, The New York Times, LA Times, New York Daily News, Daily Mail, and a few others.
In an intriguing move, the press secretary allowed outlets including Breitbart News, One America News Network, and The Washington Times, who all tend to be right leaning news organizations. That said, a few other media outlets were allowed in including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, Reuters and Bloomberg. Does it feel like something is out of balance in your life? Maybe you’ve done a ton of healing work, you’ve read all the self-help books, you’ve meditated with the best of them, but still something feels off.
Having difficulties doesn’t mean that you’re failing at being a spiritual person.
Your life is simply showing you where you’ve still got some work to do.
Here’s what you need to know: your seven chakras aren’t just energy centers. They are sacred containers of knowledge which contain an enormous amount of specific information for your growth. Each chakra holds within it a soul task which must be mastered. If any soul task is left incomplete, painful symptoms will show up in your life and your relationships. These symptoms are signs showing you where you need to do your work. Continue reading Your 7 Sacred Soul Tasks

There’s a lot we still don’t understand when it comes to sleep. We know certain changes occur in the brain, and we have a few guesses as to why, but even the experts only have theories about many aspects of sleep in general and dreaming in particular.
Sleep has long been thought of as a way to process, sort and store the day’s events, and more and more research is supporting that notion. Imagine the brain as a second gut, says Rubin Naiman, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist specializing in integrative sleep and dream medicine at the University of Arizona. “At night, the brain metaphorically swallows, digests and sifts through information, and, just like the gut, eliminates,” he says. “What the brain keeps becomes a part of who we are.” Dreaming, he says, is like the brain’s digestive system. Positive Vibrations by Cedella Marley, A Nice Time
There is a time for dreaming and there is a time to put in the work to turn those dreams into reality. Start by visualizing what you want then start to focus on what it will take to get there.
Once you have found your focus, prepare yourself for the work ahead by taking on a positive outlook as challenges will come your way. Nothing great in life comes easy, but through powerful thoughts and hard work, you can make anything happen.

Are you in the midst of a conscious awakening?
Contrary to often popular opinion, although many people can reference the “start” of their awakening, an awakening is an ongoing process. Being consciously “awake” isn’t an ending. Rather awakening is a never-ending process of becoming more consciously awake as we go along.
The more we awaken, the more we understand, and the more compassion we hold for others. The more we consciously awaken, the better we become at consciously creating our lives in the image we prefer. Continue reading The Secret To An Accelerated Conscious Awakening

(ANTIMEDIA) If Republicans in Arizona’s senate have their way, police in that state could soon have the power to seize assets and property from protesters, the Arizona Capitol Times reports.
From a February 22 article:
“Claiming people are being paid to riot, Republican state senators voted Wednesday to give police new power to arrest anyone who is involved in a peaceful demonstration that may turn bad — even before anything actually happened. The matrix. It signifies seeing beyond the invisible prison walls of our reality, and recognising and questioning its existence is one of the first signs of awakening — of truly waking up.
At first, the beginning of our transition and re-calibration to higher frequencies beyond the construct of the matrix is a blissful, beautiful experience. Being connected to the multiverse, to the cosmic love energy, is life-changing. We begin to understand the energies behind love and gratitude, the power our thoughts have in manifesting our realities, and how non-attachment and sovereignty can improve our experience of the present. It isn’t clear if Bill Gates was veiling a threat to help depopulate the planet by 30 million people, if he was simply scare-mongering, or warning of a true cataclysmic-level bioterrorism event, but at the recently held Munich Security Conference the man who has been kicked out of India said that, “a genetically engineered virus such as small pox could wipe out up to 30 million people in less than a year.”
Gates is a multi-billionaire, and the founder of Microsoft, but he has also been a vocal supporter of questionable investments that have a profound impact on people’s lives. At one point, Gates owned 500,000 shares of Monsanto stock, and his Foundation, with an endowment larger than all but four of the world’s largest hedge funds, is known to have its tentacles in many programs meant to sterilize, and force toxic vaccinations on unsuspecting and indigent populations. Have you ever felt there is a ball of words stuck in your throat that you have to swallow hard to keep it down? What about those times when you are dying to say “no” but “yes” comes out, and you beat yourself up afterwards? Do you often feel like a doormat, a victim, or someone who has been taken advantage of?
If this sounds like you (even occasionally), you are not alone. Many of us hold onto the belief that it is not socially acceptable for us to speak our truths because we may offend others, get into uncomfortable confrontations or be viewed as a mean person that no one will like. As a result, we are living under an internalized false projection launched at us from society that scripts what we should and shouldn’t be saying and doing, and imprisoning ourselves in a tiny cage of self-directed anger, frustration and powerlessness.
