Keeping The 7 Chakras Healthy

Note: Body Mind Soul Spirit republished my article about keeping the chakras healthy, so I’ve reposted it here. Enjoy!

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I don’t claim to be an expert on the chakras, but I’ve learned a little bit about them. I decided to open up and see what tips I could receive about keeping them healthy, and the words you’ll read here are what resulted.

I’m sure most of you know about the seven chakras, and we’re believed to have even more chakras beyond the basic seven that’ll come online as we continue to raise our vibration.

Chakras are literal etheric energy centers that bring through and interpret the creative energy of the higher realms, and we unknowingly use the energy that comes through them to create/sustain our reality and keep our bodies physically healthy. Continue reading Keeping The 7 Chakras Healthy

House Bill Would Allow Employers to Demand Genetic Information From Workers

By Cassius Kamarampi, The Mind Unleashed

Last week, a House committee approved the bill HR 1313 (Preserving Employee Wellness Programs Act). If passed, it will allow corporations to “require employees to undergo genetic testing or risk paying a penalty of thousands of dollars, and would let employers see that genetic and other health information,” according to PBS.

Employers demanding genetic data from workers is banned by a 2008 law called GINA, the genetic privacy and nondiscrimination law. The new bill would override that, stating that legal protection doesn’t apply when genetic tests are “part of a “workplace wellness” program.” Continue reading House Bill Would Allow Employers to Demand Genetic Information From Workers

Buddhist Teachers Response To Trump’s Presidential Win – A Different Perspective

By Alanna Ketler, Collective Evolution

Trump’s presidential win left many people feeling let down by their fellow citizens. It came as a big surprise, particularly to the women of America, who saw a clear betrayal in the fact that not only did a woman not win the election, she was beat out by a sexist womanizer.

Aside from that aspect, I think most people were just left in shock. How could this man have become president? At the beginning many people, myself included, thought this whole thing was a practical joke at best. Toward the end, I was thinking that he was put there just to make Clinton look better. And then he won. Continue reading Buddhist Teachers Response To Trump’s Presidential Win – A Different Perspective

I had a huge vasana, core issue, or major upset go off the other day and thought it useful to walk through.

We’re going to have to manage our vasanas after the Reval because what we say and do will have so many potential repercussions.

My vasana slowly arose as a consequence of more social contact for a longer period of time than I could manage.

I felt my need to return to work going up and up and up. Continue reading Completing a Major Upset: Practice for Later

Dumbing You Down with Ridiculous Television Commercials

By Sigmund Fraud, Waking Times

At the heart of the social insanity, mindless acquiescence to authority, and automatic compliance with any and every new government rule or regulation, is a deliberate effort to dumb down the population. It takes place in the halls of our educational institutions, and it comes home with us at night to our television screens.

According to educational whistleblower and author of The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, Charlotte Iserbyt: Continue reading Dumbing You Down with Ridiculous Television Commercials

Avoid The Top 12 List Of Fruits And Veggies Ridden With Pesticides

Not all of us can afford organic produce, that’s why the annual “Dirty Dozen” and “Clean Fifteen” list is so helpful when we navigate grocery stores and farmers markets.

For the last 13 years, the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a health watchdog group, has published the top dirty dozen – that is, produce with the most pesticide residues.  They also publish 15 clean counterparts, those fruits and veggies with the lowest or undetectable residues.

Interestingly, the USDA and FDA tests 35,200 produce samples to get these results that are then compiled in an easy-to-understand manner by  EWG. Since these tests are done on washed, store produce, you can be better sure that the pesticide readings match what you find in the store since they are not taken directly from the field.
