Leading Addiction Specialist Explains What is Needed to Stop the Opioid Crisis

By Alex Pietrowski, Waking Times

The opioid crisis is happening all around us in the background of society, as overdoses from street drugs and prescription painkillers continue to rise. Talk to your local firemen and paramedics and you’ll quickly realize the situation is sucking up our public resources while ruining lives and destroying families. A crisis as devastating as this should be top priority for a sane society, however this issue gets very little media attention, all the while, pharmaceutical companies are reaping massive profits, and globally, the black market for illegal heroin has become a global industry.

Pharmaceutical makers are tweaking their product lines to supply more options for opiate addicts: stronger pills, weaker pills, new guidelines, overdose antidotes, and so on. Yet, none of this addresses the root of the problem, instead only targeting the symptoms of the crisis, and a bigger idea is needed to interrupt the trend. Author’s Note: The best way I know to create your dream life is to start with a great blueprint — a Vision Board of what you deeply desire in all areas of your life (it’s brought me my home, my soulmate, my album, my book and much more!). I will be teaching my first online Vision Board Workshop in the first part of April. See the bottom of this article for more details.

This is Video is Part 2 of my series How To Create An Amazing Vision Board, so if you haven’t yet read the first post and watched the first video, go ahead and do that here now.

How The Financial System Is Being Used To Disempower Us

By Luke Miller, Truth Theory

A way in which we can conceptualise the banking system is by imagining 100 people all being given $100 and as a result of this they are expected to pay back $110 at the end of the month. The only way in which you can earn extra money is by earning it from someone else in this group of 100.

So there is $10000 in circulation, but $11000 needs to be paid back. In the best of situations this would mean 10 people would end up with nothing and go bankrupt, and the other 90 would be able to continue the cycle. But in our current system it does not work in this way as there is such inequality. Continue reading How The Financial System Is Being Used To Disempower Us

Did The U.S. Really Bomb A Mosque In Syria? Many Factors At Play In Latest Reports

By Brandon Turbeville, Activist Post

If new reports are accurate, the Trump administration is now doing all it can to not only continue Obama’s war crimes in Syria but apparently to do so in the most visible fashion possible. Only a few days after mobilizing U.S. troops in Northern Syria near Manbij, the United States has allegedly launched airstrikes in al-Jineh under the guise of targeting terrorist organization, Ahrar al-Sham, an al-Qaeda affiliate. Instead of hitting terrorists, however, reports are suggesting that the U.S. simply blew up a mosque, killing around forty civilians.

At the very beginning, of course, the Western media apparently ran headlines claiming that it was the Russians who bombed the mosque. Later, it was reported that it was the United States who was the responsible party; however, the Russian headlines were scrubbed and new stories published reporting the bombing as well as the public denials by the U.S. military. Teachings of Ayahuasca – Creation, Death, Rebirth, and 15 Essential Life Lessons

By Juliet Tang, Wake Up World

My Beloved Teacher

Of all the spiritual teachers I have worked with, ayahuasca has been the most powerful, the wisest, as well as the toughest. Her love for you is so great that she will again and again take you down the rabbit holes and the darkest places inside of you until the lessons are learned and mastered.

This article is based on my personal account of working with this powerful medicine during one of my ceremonies though no two journeys are ever alike even for the same person, so I share it with great respect and humility knowing no words can adequately capture what I experienced.

In this time and space dimension, ayahuasca is known to be an entheogenic traditional South American brew that is ingested for healing and spiritual awakening. To me, she is my beloved spiritual teacher and life coach who has taken me to heaven, hell, the universe and beyond — to ensure that I remember my true essence.
