How Sacred Science Addresses What Modern Physics Ignores

In a recent attempt to understand how conventional physics “explains” reality, I began to read Lawrence Krauss’ A Universe from Nothing

Krauss is one of those famous scientists like Richard Dawkins who doesn’t find anything strange about the fact that existence IS.

Instead he takes EVERYTHING for granted and attacks, like Dawkins and Bill Maher, the low hanging fruit of organized religion and its dogmatic, unproven Gods created in our image.

When I tried reading his book I got a bit frustrated and then checked the index for the word “consciousness,” and when I did not find it, I put the book aside.

The question really is — “what” exactly is “nothing”? Continue reading How Sacred Science Addresses What Modern Physics Ignores

A Second Lightworker Pitfall

By Steve Beckow, Golden Age of Gaia

Another fear I have besides a fear of self-importance and entitlement (1) is a fear of ridicule.

I fear that I’ll be deemed out of touch with reality because I tell a business associate that I work for the Divine Mother. (Ooops!) Or blurt out to another what Archangel Michael said. (Uhhhhh…..) (2)

I’ve always wanted to be on the frontiers of knowledge so being rebuked for having left the fold has always been an occupational hazard for me. (3)

Many of us older lightworkers chose to avoid being ridiculed and hurt by taking to the cave and becoming introverts. Or by living in foreign countries. Not a few of my friends are satisfied singles, not seeking relationship but preferring their missions instead. Continue reading A Second Lightworker Pitfall

4 Ways to Throw a Monkey Wrench into the War Machine

By Gary ‘Z’ McGee, Waking Times

“When a public is stressed and confused, a big lie told repeatedly and unchallenged can become accepted truth.” ~George Orwell

One of the biggest lies told is the false notion that in order to maintain peace, we must have war. Orwellian logic.

As ridiculous as it sounds, the majority of naïve statists believe this notion to be true. This is due, in no small part, to statist conditioning and state-driven propaganda that capitalizes on a blind, patriotic whimsy. And so the war machine continues to rage on, destroying lives, while fattening the pockets of the fat cats at Lockheed Martin and Boeing, not to mention all the other companies which directly and indirectly profit from war. It’s an all-too-common tragedy. But what can you expect when living within an oligarchic plutocracy disguised as a democratic republic? Rhetorical questions aside, there must be ways in which we can, as courageous individuals, throw a monkey wrench into the war machine and thus stop it in its violent tracks. You Have a Morphine-Like Painkiller Growing In Your Backyard

By Heather Callaghan, Natural Blaze

Whenever I hear the sarcastic term “first world problems” I cringe inside. The Western world is steeped in pain. All kinds of pain – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. While some things like bacterial infections and vitamin deficiencies were muzzled back in the 20th century, this world has never seen so much chronic pain, chronic immune issues and chronic mystery illness.

Big Pharma – the “legal” drug lords that they are – claim the entire Western world as their territory. This cartel has got the “good stuff” – the stuff that quiets the desperate pain – possibly forever. Their carefully executed algorithms have determined that even if they kill off their customers, they make billions. We don’t have an “opioid epidemic” – as though it’s the fault of patients – no! we have an “addiction and death by pill” epidemic. How these deaths are not considered “assisted but unwillful suicide,” I’ll never know…It’s not just these deaths, but the heroin overdoses that happen when people get turned away from the medical system. How it’s legal to hook someone and remove their free will, I’ll never know either. Continue reading You Have a Morphine-Like Painkiller Growing In Your Backyard

Cedella Marley: No Excuses

Everyday you have plenty of chances to make excuses for your mistakes or shortcomings. But in the end, making an excuse brings no value to your life. They hold you back from taking responsibility for your  actions and finding solutions that will resolve problems.

Do not worry about upsetting people if you do not have the answer. In fact, most people will admire you for saying you are wrong or did not yet put in the work. Rather focus on what steps you can take to avoid failure. With determination, you can do anything.

One love…Cedella

Lightworkers And Starseeds: It Is Time To Drop The Labels And Return To Who You Really Are

By Khoi Hoang,

At some point in the ascension process, we all have the question: “What is the purpose of science, politic, economy, work, art, love, pain, joy, war, lightwork, killing,…?” or, in short, “What is the purpose of existence?”. Knowing it or not, we are all looking for the answer to the final question: “Who am I?”. Isn’t that the reason we created the labels of Lightworker and Starseed to call ourselves with?

The game of human’s existence was started with the final destination of his being able to answer that question. It is an unconscious game that every soul wants to take part in with an avatar. Being born with nary one instruction about what we will do in a certain lifetime, we need something to help us navigate around in the world, that is emotion. Every time we feel the pain, sorrow, jealousy, loneliness,… we have had the wrong or insufficient answer to the question “Who am I?”. Opioid Deaths Plummeting in States with Legal Weed

By James Holbrooks, Anti-Media

(ANTIMEDIA) As Attorney General Jeff Sessions continues to lament what he views as a blight on society, a new study is showing that states with medical marijuana programs are seeing drastic reductions in opioid-related hospitalizations and overdoses.

From a Reuters article published Tuesday:

“In states that legalized medical marijuana, U.S. hospitals failed to see a predicted influx of pot smokers, but in an unexpected twist, they treated far fewer opioid users, a new study shows.

We’re revolutionizing the news industry, but we need your help! Click here to get started.

“Hospitalization rates for opioid painkiller dependence and abuse dropped on average 23 percent in states after marijuana was permitted for medical purposes, the analysis found. Hospitalization rates for opioid overdoses dropped 13 percent on average.”

The study, published in Drug and Alcohol Dependence, was authored by Yuyan Shi, a public health professor at the University of California in San Diego. According to Reuters, Shi’s study is the fifth in recent years to demonstrate declines in opioid dependence in states where medical weed is legal.

Intrigued by the data, Dr. Esther Choo, an emergency medicine professor at Oregon Health and Science University, spoke to Reuters via email.

“It is becoming increasingly clear that battling the opioid epidemic will require a multi-pronged approach and a good deal of creativity,” Choo, who was not involved in the study, said. “Could increased liberalization of marijuana be part of the solution? It seems plausible.”

One 2014 study showed opioid deaths dropped an average of 25 percent in states where medical marijuana is permitted, and data released just a month ago suggests that given the choice, many patients prefer weed over opioids as a painkiller.

The news of this latest study comes as a congressional committee announced it is opening an investigation into the pharmaceutical manufacturers of the nation’s five top-selling opioid products.

According to a statement released by the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee, the investigation — to be headed by Senator Claire McCaskill (D) — will explore whether pharmaceutical corporations “have contributed to opioid over-utilization and overprescription.”

The investigation will purportedly be a “wide-ranging” one and will also include the marketing side of the industry. A recent report from the Associated Press, for instance, found makers of opioid painkillers outspend the gun lobby on campaign contributions and lobbying by a ratio of eight to one.

“All of this didn’t happen overnight,” McCaskill said of the opioid epidemic sweeping the United States. “[I]t happened one prescription and marketing program at a time.”

However, neither the mounting evidence of the medicinal uses for marijuana — nor calls from those within Trump’s own government to look into the true causes of the opioid epidemic — have seemed to sway the president’s top cop. Just last week, Jeff Sessions doubled down on his stance that marijuana is nothing short of a danger to society.

“I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana,” he said, “so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another.”

Waking Up to the Sacred in Nature and Reclaiming Our Earth Soul

waking-up-to-the-sacred-in-nature-and-reclaiming-our-earth-soul-3By Christa Mackinnon, Wake Up World

“In the absence of the sacred, nothing is sacred. Everything is for sale.” ~ Oren R. Lyons, Faithkeeper of the Turtle clan

When writing my latest book, I was surprised how difficult I found it to write a ‘short chapter about nature and sacredness’ for a readership that would be mainly urban. Now that the indigenous movement against the completion of the Dakota Access Pipeline brought the issue to the fore, I was reminded how urgently we need to re-connect with the sacred aspect of nature, not only because we face an ecological crisis and need to stand up in vast numbers to the ever increasing destruction of natural habitat and resources driven, but also because the separation from the nature aspect of ourselves, from our earth roots and souls, is contributing extensively to the dis-connection from our own wild nature and to our mental, emotional and physical suffering and dis-enchantment. Black Community Unites to Protect D.C. After Girls Go Missing: Media is Dismissive

By Cassius Kamarampi, The Mind Unleashed

A few days ago, info about 14 girls going missing in 24 hours in Washington, D.C. went viral. Though the number may not actually be 14, it struck a nerve because people are going missing.

It gave inspiration to people seeking to protect the community and exercise their right to self defense. Black Men United organized an effort to patrol D.C., and activists are doing everything they can to pay attention. Continue reading Black Community Unites to Protect D.C.
