Understanding The Language of the Heart: The Original Language

via Giovanni Bartolomeo, Collective Evolution

The following article was written by one of my first spiritual teachers. At a time in my life when I needed some direction, I really reached out and set the intention. I was lost and needed guidance, and just as the old saying goes, when the student is ready the teacher will appear. Daniel travels the world teaching meditation techniques and practices (along with a lot of other cool stuff as well). We sat down for an interview and he also shared this important article he wrote: Continue reading Understanding The Language of the Heart: The Original Language

That’s the Roadmap

By Steve Beckow, Golden Age of Gaia

I’d like to offer a roadmap to realized knowledge.

I do so not as a spiritual teacher – a term I reserve for beings enlightened to the seventh-chakra.

I’m not a spiritual teacher but a writer interested in spiritual matters. On that basis…. Continue reading That’s the Roadmap

New K-Cup for Cannabis Brings Single-Serving Waste to Sophisticated Stoners

By Vic Bishop, Waking Times

When you think of rampant consumerism and senseless plastic waste, surely the Keurig single-serving coffee maker comes to mind. With this inventive contraption you use a prepackaged plastic cup (K-cup) to produce one serving of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, taking convenience to new levels, while leveling the environment with billions of non-recyclable plastic cups a year. Healthy Soil Is the Real Key to Feeding the World

Op-ed by David R. Montgomery, University of Washington

One of the biggest modern myths about agriculture is that organic farming is inherently sustainable. It can be, but it isn’t necessarily. After all, soil erosion from chemical-free tilled fields undermined the Roman Empire and other ancient societies around the world. Other agricultural myths hinder recognizing the potential to restore degraded soils to feed the world using fewer agrochemicals. Continue reading Healthy Soil Is the Real Key to Feeding the World

Cedella Marley: Actions Speak Louder

e93f3c_4d73dd57690040e5a08ceb72e3082e5fmv23Positive Vibrations by Cedella Marley, A Nice Time

Actions always speak louder than words. With so much trouble in our world, it is important to use your energy to help people rather than sharing negative feelings and opinions.

Shift your focus to what you can do to make real change. Those who talk big and do nothing go unnoticed but those who do good for the sake of others always win praise. Use your power today not just your words.

One love…Cedella

What the Media Isn’t Telling You About Yesterday’s Chemical Attack in Syria

By , Anti-Media

(ANTIMEDIA) On Tuesday, yet another chemical weapons attack occurred in Syria. This particular attack took place in the Idlib province, and dozens have reportedly died as a result.

Syria is no stranger to chemical weapons attacks. In 2013, there were two notably devastating attacks, both of which the Obama administration used to try to justify a direct strike on the Assad government.

The U.N. thoroughly investigated the first 2013 attack. The U.N Commission of Inquiry’s Carla Del Ponte ultimately said the evidence indicated the attack was carried out by the Syrian rebels — not the Syrian government. Despite this, support for the Syrian rebels from the U.S. and its allies only increased, raising serious questions about Obama’s sincerity when condemning chemical attacks. The Dynamics of Longing, Resistance and Love

By Ethel Kings, Wake Up World

Rumi says: “Your task is not to seek love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”  This article is about how I have come to understand these words.

Every now and then I drop into a deep dark pit hole of complete aloneness – a portal into My Personal Hell – where it feels like there is no love for me in this universe. It actually feels like there is no love whatsoever in this universe – no one loves anyone. Universe seems to be nothing but cold, indifferent, heartless machinery.

My soul longs to connect deeply with a warm, living, feeling human being to be delivered from this isolation. It feels much like Christopher Poindexter put it: “And in the end, we were all just humans… drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.” Connecting in authentic, open-hearted way soothes this longing. Each time that deep connection happens, the heartless, indifferent, unloving universe that I dread, loses its grip on me. Continue reading The Dynamics of Longing, Resistance and Love

The Path of the Bird: the Most Effective Way of the Spiritual Awakening

By Frank M. Wanderer, The Mind Unleashed

Reaching the state of timeless perfection is the goal of every spiritual seeking. This state can be described by no worries, lightness and a feeling of happiness, deep inner peace and an abundance of energy. Nothing can be added to or taken away from this state, this is your original state.

During your spiritual search, all you have to discover is what you already are, not what you were or will be. You forgot this knowledge, because you identified yourself with the outer world of perceivable things and the inner world of things that make you think. Your identity lies in these things now. This illusion makes you forget the immesurable richness of your original being. Continue reading The Path of the Bird: the Most Effective Way of the Spiritual Awakening
