By Mona Delfino, PreventDisease.com, Thanks to Conscious Life News

Recently many people have been asking me about how changes can work when they feel lost, or stuck. I say that you really are not lost, or stuck, even though it feels like that! Truthfully, you are in transition and as with any shift, even with diets, we hit a plateau. In the world of internal change, although we can feel that we are without direction, recognizing anything is called an “A-HA” moment.

When we recognize an internal sadness or discomfort, we can begin to see that it’s time for change. It’s important to feel what we are experiencing. That alone can change the old cellular patterns just by acknowledging that you’re ready to move forward, and sometimes that comes with the sensation of feeling alone, lost, stuck, unaccepted, disappointed with life, not understood, etc. If we are able to shift the perspectives as we feel these emotion, we will feel the internal support that will get us through these ominous times. By Stephan Gardner, Collective Evolution, Thanks to Conscious Life News

“Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps control the brain’s reward and pleasure centers. Dopamine also helps regulate movement and emotional response, and it enables us not only to see rewards, but to take action to move toward them.”  Psychology Today

There are a lot of articles on the internet about dopamine and how it affects your mood, behavior, energy, and focus. 10 Ways To Alkalize Your Body Today

By Michelle Schoffro Cook, Care2.com (Thanks to Body Mind Soul Spirit)

Acidity in the body has been linked to pain, excess weight and many other health issues.

In small amounts, acidic foods like sugar, food additives, meat, rancid oils, trans fats and fried food can be handled by your body’s detoxification systems—the kidneys as well as its mineral reserves. But, over time, acidity can have many damaging effects on the body.

Excessive amounts of acid deplete oxygen, which is needed by every cell in your body to function properly. It damages the mitochondria—the cells’ energy centers—so your cells won’t have enough energy to perform their vital functions properly. If not properly eliminated or neutralized, excessive amounts of acid can even damage brain cells and other cells. Continue reading 10 Ways To Alkalize Your Body Today

What is Vibration?

Vibration is our unique personal energy frequency, or energy signature. It is the state of our energy at this moment, as a result of all beliefs, emotions, experiences and interactions we have accumulated.

Our vibration is directly affected by both the external such as our environmental factors and lifestyle choices, as well as the internal such as the stories we tell about ourselves and the world around us.

Hence, it is essential for us to take care of us on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels to maintain high vibration. Continue reading 10 Ways to Raise Our Vibration

By Alice Jones Webb, The Mind Unleashed

Every weekday morning, from September through June, parents across the country get up earlier than they want to, rush like crazy, wrangle kids into appropriate clothing, and wait in exhausting drop-off lines to get their children to school on time. Why? Because punctuality is a virtue? Or because they are afraid of getting in trouble?

In big cities and small communities, the same routine is repeated with minor variations. Small children and near adult adolescents will spend the majority of their waking hours somewhere they would rather not be. But few people question the set-up. 10 Ways Playing Outside Will Make Your Kid Smarter

smarrt

By Alice Jones Webb, The Mind Unleashed

When I was a kid, I lived outside. Most warm evenings would have me and most of the neighborhood kids riding bikes, building forts, catching lightning bugs, or just laying in the grass until the streetlights blinked on or our mothers called us for dinner.

I grew up in an age when organized athletics for five year olds were rare, when parents didn’t orchestrate their children’s every waking moment, when mothers and fathers didn’t feel so pressured for their kids to perform and succeed. There was an abundance of free time and my mother didn’t want me in her hair. I am a much better person for it. Continue reading 10 Ways Playing Outside Will Make Your Kid Smarter
