Wisdom with Wes: Look Within

You can read or listen to spiritual material all day long if you want, but none of it will really help if you don’t have love and a strong sense of your own spirituality.

In fact, you might end up craving spiritual material just to feel aligned or whole, and if you get caught up in this false need, you’ll want to work on yourself; explore your inner consciousness and come out of it ready to take on this crazy thing we call life.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t look to spiritual material to uplift us and help us learn a thing or two about the vibrant spirituality that’s all around, but our search will always be incomplete if we forget to look within.

Looking within is a much more potent way to expand our consciousness than reading an article (including any of mine), and when it comes down to it, we have to explore ourselves and find our own truth.

We have to reach deep within to find our inner love and bring it up to the surface so we can uplift others with it, and when you find your inner wellspring of love and start creatively expressing it, you can remind the people who discover your work of the importance of finding their own way.

Spiritual writers, teachers, musicians, etc. will always be active, and the best way to benefit from our material is to have already cultivated a clear, concise, love-filled perception of this infinite universe. It doesn’t have to be difficult, and like I’ve said before, it’ll get easier with time, practice and patience.

Stay aware!
